Team Buffalo Alum, Austin Goltz, Named Captain at Providence College

Congratulations to Team Buffalo alum, Austin Goltz (Orchard Park), who was named a captain of the Providence College men's lacrosse team for the 2017 season.  

Goltz, an attackman, has played 14 career games and has appeared in the starting line-up five times. During his tenure with the Friars, he has accumulated six points on six goals, and also owns 14 groundballs and three caused turnovers. Goltz is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma, which is a national scholar-athlete society that recognizes student-athletes who have excelled in the classroom and in athletic competition. The organization honors student-athletes who have earned a varsity letter while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.4-or higher, throughout their junior and/or senior years.
