Local WNY Products Drafted into Major League Lacrosse

2014 Timon High School Graduates, Connor Fields and Adam Dimillo, Drafted to MLL’s Charlotte Hounds .

For Connor Fields, the question was not if, but when.  Last night, during early hours of the Major League Lacrosse 2018 Collegiate draft, Fields was chosen 3rd overall by the Charlotte Hounds.  Being chosen after two of his fellow tewaaraton finalists; Denver Midfielder Trevor Baptiste went 1st to the Boston Cannons, and Maryland A/M Connor Kelly going to the Atlanta Blaze.

Connor Fields is a Timon St. Jude graduate, coached by Mike Burke (currently at St. Francis) during an influx of local talent, including then teammate Adam Dimillo.  Dimillo has been this year’s  “48 minute man” for the Maryland Terrapins, and was taken in the 6th round by the Hounds.  Congratulations to both players, there will always be a spot for them on our BUFFALO CUP rosters.

We want to wish both players the best of luck after graduation.  We can’t wait to see them both playing on labor day in Boston!
